Gorham Schools Back Pack Program - Here to help during the government shutdown. Thumbnail Image
If you or someone you know is affected by the government shutdown, the Gorham School Department can help! We offer BackPack Program services to students in all schools, free of charge, on a long or short-term basis. Gorham’s BackPack Program provides students with easy-to-prepare food to eat during weekends and a daily snack while at school. All food is non-perishable and provided to students free of charge. Simply email Heather Whitaker at heather.whitaker@gorhamschools.org with any questions or to sign-up. No further paperwork is necessary. The Gorham Food Pantry that is located next to St. Anne's Parish on Main Street (Across from Narragansett School) is also offering help to individuals or families living in Gorham that are being affected by the government shutdown. Our Incoming Kindergarten "Parent Information Night" will be on Tues. March 5th at 5:30 p.m. This will be a night for parents to meet some of our staff and hear about our school. You will also have the opportunity to schedule your student to come for a screening in April. In the meantime, please click and fill out the information on your student. Thank you so much!

This school year (2018-19) there will be significant changes to our Transportation Policy. Students are now limited to no more than 2 (two) AM Stop Locations and 2 (two) PM Stop Locations. Daily changes to a student’s transportation schedules will no longer be accommodated. If your student(s) will be requiring bussing to or from a licensed Gorham daycare provider or other residential addresses, other than their home address it is important for the Gorham School Transportation Office to receive this information before July 31st.
